FAIR HAVEN – Friday marked the start of two big borough events, the Fair Haven Business Association’s annual summer sidewalk sale and the annual Firemen’s Fair.
The sale is also being held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.Saturday. Borough shops and businesses will be displaying merchandise in front of their establishments with special sales and promotions.
The Fair Haven Fireman’s Fair, a long-time tradition in town, opened Friday night at the River Road firehouse and continues through Saturday Aug. 31, with the exception of Sunday, Aug. 25, when the fair is closed.
