RED BANK – Family Fireworks on the Navesink, an event benefiting Riverview Medical Center and hosted at the DiPiero family home, raised $80,000 and attracted a sold-out crowd of more than 250 attendees.
The family-focused event, complete with a spectacular fireworks show on the Navesink River, supports the continued growth of the Medical Center.
The success of the event highlights the indelible partnership between the community and Riverview Medical Center. Riverview’s recent Life.Changing. Capital Campaign, co-chaired by Domenic M. DiPiero III and George Kolber, raised $20 million dollars in support of the center for surgical excellence. Many of the evening’s guests were also trustees and significant contributors to the campaign, as well as many generous friends from throughout the community.
“It’s incredible to witness the continued support for Riverview,” said Tom Gravina, chairman of Riverview Medical Center Foundation, “and, even more amazing to see supporters of the hospital help bring back the local tradition of fireworks on the Navesink River. Our community believes in their hospital and recognizes the extraordinary care that is provided by Riverview’s physicians, nurses, and caregivers.”
Guests of all ages enjoyed delicious food, a variety of food trucks, inflatable rides, games and a breathtaking view of the fireworks show.
