The National Weather Service has posted a flash flood warning for the region, including Monmouth County. as heavy rain from Tropical Storm Andrea drenches the area as it moves north toward New England.
The forecast calls for rain amounts of 2 to 3 inches with isolated amounts in some area as much as 5 inches, according to the weather service.
