FAIR HAVEN – Forefront received the Best of Show Award at the recent IBM IMPACT 2012 Global Conference in Las Vegas.
ForeFront works with IBM cloud computing technologies (WebSphere). The award is given to one of more than 12,000 IBM Business Partners that demonstrate unique innovations and solution expertise.
Cloud computing allows any size business to be more agile in responding to market trends, more cost-effective in deploying new applications, and more apt to address new business opportunities. Players include Amazon, Google, Salesforce.com, and many more. The challenge resides in migrating some business applications to the “cloud” while maintaining data flow integrity with other in-house business Information technology (IT) assets. This is the “cloud integration” challenge.
ForeFront showcased at the IBM Impact event how its solutions allowed clients to seamlessly integrate information across business units independent of cloud and in-house systems. The solutions are some of the industry’s most complex cloud integration successes.
“To be recognized by IBM is one thing. To be awarded No. 1 solution provider of the year among IBM’s best is incredible. A great accomplishment for our team,” said Michel Berger, president of ForeFront. “We do get involved in some very fancy cloud computing projects. For instance, helping Zynga (maker of Farmville) build a customer support app for their 350-plus million worldwide users on Facebook is not a small undertaking.”
ForeFront, located in Fair Haven, leverages Monmouth County’s excellent pool of resources – from new grads, experienced developers, to vertical industry veterans.
“Unfortunately, New Jersey has lost momentum from its high-tech heritage,” Berger said. “Cloud computing levels the field for business innovation opportunities made in New Jersey. ForeFront is just one of many examples to come.”
