TINTON FALLS — Former Red Bank Mayor Edward J. McKenna Jr. is scheduled to have his day in municipal court Tuesday to answer charges he was driving while intoxicated on the Garden State Parkway last month.
NJ State Police charged McKenna with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving and unsafe lane change after his vehicle struck the parkway guardrail on the evening of May 13.
McKenna was Red Bank’s mayor from 1990-2006.
