LINCROFT – Newman Springs Dental Care’s gift of a free day of dentistry will be held on Thursday, Oct. 11 as part of the sixth annual Dentistry From The Heart event.
The dental volunteers will provide examinations, digital X-rays, blood pressure and Velscope oral cancer screenings, and a choice of an extraction, filling or cleaning to people, ages 18 and older.
Registration begins at 7 a.m. and is first come, first served. The first 140 adults are guaranteed to be seen. Last year more than $50,000 of free dental care was provided to 144 patients in a single day.

“One day is a pretty small thing, but we think it makes a difference in the lives of the people who come to us for help,” Dr. Mitchel Friedman said. “Since bringing Dentistry From The Heart to New Jersey in 2007, several other dental office have started their own events. There is a need and dental teams have answered by serving their communities.”
