John Michael Gaburo, 55, of Oceanport, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6 at Riverview Hospital, Red Bank, with his loving family at his side.
Born in Vineland, John graduated from Vineland High School where he played baseball.
John was a financial planner for Mid-Atlantic Resource Group and his passions included taking family trips to Lake George, his days spent fishing off the dock and his nights laughing on the deck with his family.
John was an amazing chef, spoiling his family with a delicious meal every night.
John was a longtime member of Crossfit Shrewsbury and a volunteer of the Aslan Youth Ministry.
John received his bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall where he played rugby.
John is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Patrice Marie Gaburo (McGinley); his parents, Charles and Amelia (Sbrana) Gaburo; a son, Bryan; a daughter, Danielle and fiance Paul; a brother, Steven; three sisters, Donna and her husband John Schaefer, Lisa and her husband Carmen Digiorgio, and Sherrie; and by many nieces and nephews.
