RED BANK – Integrated business and wellness spokesperson DonnaLyn Giegerich will be the luncheon keynote speaker Friday, Sept. 26, at the Women Leaders in Insurance & Financial Services Conference in Louisville, Ky.
She is president of DLG Consulting, an empowerment speaking and training company, headquartered in Red Bank.
Giegerich, who is a Health & Wellness columnist in ***ITALThe Two River Times***END provides customized coaching, keynotes, events and consulting for her corporate, professional and transitioning clients requesting leadership, mentoring and “skill up” solutions.
“DonnaLyn has over 25 years experience as a Certified Insurance Counselor and agency owner which makes her uniquely suited to present to our organization,” said Kasey Maier, conference coordinator. “We’re looking forward to her leadership presentation on ‘The Four P’s of Perseverance.’ ”
Giegerich is a rare 4-in-1 million leiomyosarcoma well survivor that ran, biked and swam through a year of surgical rehab, chemotherapy and radiation to learn her husband was diagnosed with a rare incurable cancer at nearly the same time. Undeterred by their circumstances, they have turned their challenge into a freeway of opportunity to serve others. She is also a midlife Mrs. New Jersey pageant winner as Mrs. Red Bank for rare cancer awareness; a registered yoga teacher; Kripalu Yoga model, and an adventurer elevating what’s possible for others through challenge.
