WALL – The Jersey Shore Chamber of Commerce is asking for help with its Annual Summer BBQ Fundraiser.
For the past 15 years the chamber has been raising money to award scholarships to high school seniors in the southern Monmouth area. With members support last year, it was able to award $750 to three students this year.
The chamber is asking businesses to contribute a door prize, gift auction prize or perhaps purchase some tickets to assist with raising funds for the event on Thursday, Aug. 21, that will be hosted by Bar Anticipation in Lake Como.
The event will be held on the outside patio from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The ticket price is $45 per person and includes barbecue-style food, live entertainment, silent auction and a two-hour open bar. It’s a great time for friends to get together for some summer fun and networking.
