Nora Leo Goldschlager, 89, of Rumson, passed away at River view Medical Center on Monday, Jan. 25. Nora was born and raised in Rumson, to her late parents James M. Leo, Sr. and Marie (Scanlon) Leo. She was a communicant of Holy Cross Church, Rumson. She was a graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven High School, Class of 1944, and was employed at AT&T for 40 years and retired in 1984. She was a life member of AT&T Pioneers of America. She married the love of her life, Sidney Goldschlager, from New York City, in 1958. They traveled all around our country, Canada and Mexico. Nora’s passion was being with her family who affectionately called her “Nonie.” Nonie enjoyed family celebrations and holidays with the children.

Nora is predeceased by her husband Sid; her sister Marie Leo Fallon; her brother James M. Leo, Jr.; and her nephews Robert Leo and James M. Leo III. She is survived by her loving nephew George D. Fallon and his wife Sharon, and their children Shane Fallon and his wife Lisa, Jill Donovan and her husband Colin, and Lynn F. Campanella and her husband Bob. Nora is a Great Aunt to their children, Julianna and Matt Fallon; twins Meghan and Ryan Donovan; and Sean and Peyton Campanella, all of Rumson. She is also survived by a niece Audrey Leo; niece Pat Leo and her children Meredith, Erin and Christine; Nora’s brother-in-law Murray Leonard and his wife Edna of Tucson, Arizona; and nephew Richard Leonard and his wife Stephaney of Australia.

Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
