Grace Hanlon and Dr. Robert McCaig were married on November 5 in a private ceremony at Holy Cross Church in Rumson. Reverend Michael Manning performed the ceremony. Hope Hanlon, sister-in-law of the bride, and Robert McCaig, father of the groom, attended the couple. The wedding was followed by a brunch for immediate family at the father of the bride’s home in Rumson.
Ms. Hanlon, Fair Haven, is the daughter of Anthony “Buddy” Hanlon and the late Mary Hanlon, Rumson. She received a M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania and a M.A. from Rosemont College, Rosemont, PA. She was appointed Executive Director of the Division of Travel & Tourism by Governor Chris Christie and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Prevention First.
Dr. McCaig, Asbury Park, is the son of Robert and Anne McCaig, Philadelphia, PA. He received a B.A. from Penn State University, a M.A. from Arcadia University, Glenside, PA and Ed.D from Temple University, Philadelphia. He is vice-president of Enrollment Management at Monmouth University and is a member of the Board of Trustees at Big Brother & Big Sister Monmouth County.
After honeymooning in Riviera Maya, the couple will reside in Fair Haven and Asbury Park.
