Lorraine Louise (Dressler) Hardy, 87, passed away Monday, Sept. 21, at Meridian
Rehabilitation in Shrewsbury.
Lorraine met her one True Love, Henry Hardy, while he was stationed at Fort
Monmouth before going overseas during World War II. When he saw her, it was love at
first sight. They married in 1945 and raised six children together. Their love for each
other was endless and always their greatest source of strength and now they are together
again. May she know that she was so loved by her family and will be missed until we all
Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Henry in 2003.
She is survived by her six children and will forever be in their hearts; Henry and his
wife Christa of Middletown, Mark of Little Silver, David and his late wife Valerie of Red
Bank, Dawn and her late husband Angelo of Long Branch, Richard and his wife Kim Marie
of Wall, Harold and his wife Shirley of California; 12 loving grandchildren and 10 beautiful
Visitation was held on Thursday Sept. 24 at Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank,
with a service by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Interment will
