ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – The Atlantic Frightlands Creative Group will transform the historic Strauss Mansion, 27 Prospect Circle, into a frightening space for two weekends of Halloween festivities Oct. 24-25 and Oct. 31-Nov. 1.

The event will feature a number of new special effects, a scary storyline and peeks into the rarely seen haunted rooms in the 150 year-old Queen Anne estate.

Tours will run continuously from 6 to 9 p.m. with tickets available at the door for $7. Special “kid friendly” shows can be arranged by speaking to the haunted mansion staff.

Volunteers are welcome to help design, act, or assist in painting/building props and set pieces. Those interested can contact atlanticfrightlands@gmail.com or on Facebook.

Funds raised by the haunted tour benefit the Atlantic Highlands Historical Society.

Additional information is available by visiting www.atlanticfrightlands.com or www.atlantichighlandshistory.org/ahh.
