Florence C. “Flo” Higgins, 88, of Eatontown, formerly of Rumson, passed away Thursday, May 26 at Monmouth Medical Center.
She was an editor for the Echoes-Sentinel Newspaper in Long Hill Township, until her retirement in 1987. Flo was a nationally recognized Astrologer having owned the “Aquarius Rising” Astrological Book Store in Fair Haven and up until her death maintained her own website and wrote an astrological column for The Two River Times for 25 years.
Flo was born in Plainfield to the late Stanley and Gertrude (nee Keene) Conover.
She is survived by her beloved children Thomas Higgins and Ellyn Mansfield and her husband Robert Wilson. Also surviving are her loving grandchildren Ramona and Elizabeth Mansfield and her dear sister Helen Conover of New York City.
