Debrah K. Hollen, 51, a long-time Monmouth Beach resident, passed away on Friday, March 24. Debrah was born in Camden to Elaine K. (Anthony) and Russell T. Hollen. Debbie brought so
much light and joy to everyone whose life she touched. From her early life in the theater, to her hospitality and management career that took her from around , to her passion for her scripts, novels, constant stories, photography and inventions, to her always love of her restaurant management profession and her most cherished life as mother to her beloved children, she created laughter, art, food and warmth and compassion for everyone she touched.

Debbie is a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School, class of 1983, and Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Recreation and Leisure, class of 1987.

She was predeceased by her parents. Debbie is survived by her children who she loved more than the stars love the moon, Gradea, Patrick and Heather Lappin of New York City; her sisters, Cynthia Hollen of Hollywood, Florida, and Christine Hollen of Arcata, California; her nieces, Emily and Jennifer; her aunts and uncles, Heather Geren of Burlington, Iowa, Shirley Seibert of Pennsylvania, James Hollen of New Jersey and Charles and Dick Hollen of Carroltown, Pennsylvania; her Scottish family in Dunblane, London, Bristol and South Africa, Helen, Jimmy, Alex, Eileen, all of her cousins around the world, and many, many dear friends who were also her family.

A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, March 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Braun Funeral Home, 106 Broad St., Eatontown. A time of memory sharing will be offered to family and friends at 8 p.m. Interment is private. Memorial donations in Debbie’s name may be made to AutismSpeaks.Org.
