SHREWSBURY – Integrated Medicine Alliance has announced the opening of its new IMA Podiatry practice which adds yet another medical discipline to the fast-growing company’s service offerings to the Monmouth County area.
Led by Justin Cohen, DPM, IMA Podiatry specializes in diagnosing and treating injuries to the foot and ankle. It is located within IMA’s flagship location in Shrewsbury, which also houses one of the group’s three walk-in clinics as well as its dietitian and administrative services.
IMA Podiatry joins an extensive group of services offered under IMA Specialty Care, which also includes physical therapy, geriatric rehab and home care, a diagnostic center and more.
“We are honored to welcome Dr. Cohen to IMA and to add another important specialty to our practice,” said Jan Glowacki, MD, president of Integrated Medicine Alliance’s Board of Directors. “Dr. Cohen is a leader in the field of podiatry and he will fit in extremely well within our growing roster of highly trained, impeccably credentialed and deeply compassionate health providers.”
Cohen received his doctorate in podiatric medicine (DPM) from Temple University’s School of Podiatric Medicine. He previously completed three years of advanced residency training in podiatric medicine and surgery at Mount Vernon Hospital and Wyckoff Heights Medical Center. He specializes in foot surgery, trauma, dermatology, biomechanics, orthotics, diabetic limb salvage and wound care, among other disciplines.
“Joining IMA was a natural fit because it will allow me to focus on treating patients and working collectively with an incredible team of physicians from many different specialties,” Cohen said. “I am excited to have a home here within IMA and looking forward to treating both current and new IMA patients.”
