MILLSTONE – Monmouth County will begin milling and repaving at the intersection of County Route 537 and County Route 527 at 8 p.m. on Monday, June 24.
The work will be performed for the rest of the week from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
Motorists should expect some delays as the number of travel lanes will be reduced on both Route 537 and Route 527.

“The county resurfaces about 20 miles of roadway each year,” Freeholder Director Thomas A. Arnone said.  “The Route 537/527 project is part of the county’s efforts to responsibly maintain its roadway infrastructure and to keep traffic moving.”
In total, the county maintains of approximately 380 miles of roads, 980 bridges and culverts and 200 traffic signals.
If an adjustment to the work schedule is necessary, updates will be posted to the county’s website at www.visitmonmouth.com.
