Jersey Mike’s Subs to Open in Red Bank
RED BANK – Jersey Mike’s Subs, founded in Point Pleasant and a staple at the Jersey Shore, will open Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 100 Water St.
Restaurant operator Lewis Thompson will hold a grand opening and free sub fundraiser from opening day through Sunday, Jan. 19, to support The Community YMCA. 
The new restaurant is circulating 7,500 coupons throughout the community offering a free regular sub for a minimum $2 contribution to The Community YMCA. Customers must have a coupon to be eligible.
“Jersey Mike’s was my first job in high school and since then I have worked in a number of different Jersey Mike’s locations around the country,” Thompson said. “Being back home in Monmouth County and continuing my career with Jersey Mike’s is a homerun for me. This grand opening is a special opportunity for us to give back to the community and expand our roots here at the Jersey Shore.”
Thompson is a Jersey Mike’s restaurant operator who shares the company’s commitment to quality products, exceptional customer service and giving back to the community.
Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $7.5 million for worthy charities and have distributed more than 600,000 free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes.
Started in 1956, Jersey Mike’s now has 1,000 restaurants open and under development nationwide. In just three years, the company has nearly doubled in size.
