Jessica Ann Carton and Frank Vincent Marrone Jr. were married on Aug. 22 at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church in Monmouth Beach. The nuptial Mass was followed by a rollicking reception at The Sterling Ball Room in Tinton Falls.
The bride was walked down the aisle by her stepfather, the Rev. William C. Riker and her brother, Lawrence A. (Augie) Carton IV, both of Locust. She was attended by her sister, Catherine Carton Rudnick, matron of honor, and bridesmaids Lisa Coakley and Melissa Schlachter. The best man was Frank Mentesana and Matthew Cubeta and Eric Lipschutz were groomsmen.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Barbara Untermeyer Carton-Riker of Locust and the late Lawrence A. Carton III, Esq., Middletown. Jessica is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton F. Untermeyer, former mayor of Long Branch and the Honorable and Mrs. Lawrence A. Carton, Jr., former mayor of Middletown.
Jessica is a graduate of Middletown High School South and Muhlenberg College, Allentown. Pennsylvania. She received her MAT from Seton Hall University, South Orange. She is a member of the Phi Sigma Sigma sorority. She teaches at Saint Rose High School in Belmar.
Frank is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marrone. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Marrone and Mr. and Mrs. Bartolomeo Poggioli.
He grew up in Manhattan until he moved to Tinton Falls. He is a graduate of Xavier High School, New York City, and SUNY Albany. Frank is the director of production for nhl.com in Manhattan.
The couple reside in Tinton Falls with their dog Fang.
