Martha “Marty” Stevens Kaufmann, 80, of Lincroft, passed away peacefully on Saturday March 18 at her Sunrise of Lincroft residence. Marty was born and raised in a coal mine town of Glen Lyon, Pennsylvania. After graduating from Newport High School she moved to New York City where she worked for a couple of years before marrying and moving to River Plaza to have a family and then 14 years later to Rumson. Marty worked at Biddle Sawyer Corp. in Keyport, as an office manager for more than 20 years. She was a member of the Newcomers Club in Rumson. She enjoyed gardening and long walks. She also loved to travel and go on the boat with her beloved late husband Don. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and is already missed dearly.

Marty was predeceased by her husband, Daniel “Don” Kaufmann just a few months ago. They shared 35 happy years together. She was also predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Martha Honabach and her sister Marie Castelli of Nanicoke, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her loving family of four children and nine grandchildren: her sons, Edward Stevens and his wife Robin of Paoli, Pennsylvania, and their boys, Bryce and Cassidy; James Stevens and his wife Noreen of Atlantic Highlands and their children, Trevor and Samantha; Mark Stevens and his wife Donna of Middletown and their children, Kelly, Amy and A.J.; and a daughter, Linda Olshan of Long Branch and her children Nicole and Robert.
