Edith Catherine Kibler, 87 of Tinton Falls, peacefully passed away at home on Wednesday, Feb. 3. She was born in Staten Island, New York, to the late Walter and Eda Buraus and for many years resided in the Middletown area. Edith was a homemaker, a former teacher for early childhood and staff member for Town and Country Magazine. She also enjoyed politics and spending time with family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, Lynden Underwood Kibler; and a brother, Harry Buraus.
Edith is survived by her three children, Lynden, David “Mick” and Barbara Kibler; four grand- children, Matthew, Caitlin, Michael and Tammy Fair; and one great grandchild, Oliver Fair.
There will be a Memorial Gathering on Thursday, Feb. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a 12:30 p.m. prayer service at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. Interment will be private.
