Mary Jane Knoll (nee Bohn), 89, died on Thursday, November 24 at Regency Grand Nursing Home Dover. Jane was born in Middletown and was a longtime resident of Red Bank. She was a graduate of Red Bank Catholic High School. She worked at Mount English Ford and was a member of Red Bank Board of Health serving for a time as its president.
She volunteered at Riverview Hospital and was a part-time bookkeeper at Ballew’s Jewelers.
Jane was a lifetime member of Ship Ahoy Beach Club in Sea Bright, where she spent many cherished summers with family and friends.
Jane was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charles R. Knoll in 2005; her son, John Michael Knoll in 2008; and her son-in-law, Raymond G. Korver in 2015.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Susan Marie Knoll of Hamburg; a grandson, David Charles Knoll-Korver and his wife Leah of Hampton; and two great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Morgan and Andrew David.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. at St. James R.C. Church, 94 Broad Street in Red Bank.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the name of Jane Knoll to Red Bank Fire Department/Relief Engine Company, Drummond Place, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
