Kristina ErkenBrack and Zachary DeVesty were married on July 14, 2012, at Norfolk Botanical Gardens, Norfolk, Va.
Kelsey DeVesty, sister of the groom, was maid of honor and Joshua Illingworth, friend of the groom since first grade, was best man. The other wedding party members were Kelsey Purks, Lynn Brosmer, Casey Hazlegrove, Kirsten Lantzy, Sierra Delrue, Robyn Graff, Evan Witt, Chris Rielly, Matthew Montgomery and Andrew Smith. The wedding was followed by a reception also held at Norfolk Botanical Gardens.
Kristina is the daughter of Jon and Valerie ErkenBrack, Virginia Beach, Va. She graduated from Frank W. Cox High School, Virginia Beach, and James Madison University, Harrisonburg, Va., with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Master of Arts in teaching. She is an English teacher at Washington Lee High School, Arlington, Va.
Zachary is the son of Stuart and Allyson DeVesty, Navesink. He graduated from Middletown High School South and James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in quantitative finance, with a minor in economics and math. He is a financial systems analyst with the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, Washington, D.C.
After a 10-day honeymoon in Jamaica, the couple is living in Arlington, Va.
