She Loves Red Bank, but the Parking System is Confusing

To the Editor:

I recently had the pleasure of visiting my hometown of Red Bank twice in July. I was going to write about the perplexities of the new parking system. Yes, I was going to complain. To me, a senior citizen, the system was difficult to understand – even with written instructions. However, a very kind gentleman assisted me in the White Street parking lot, so I was all set.
Then, on July 29, the last day of the sidewalk sale, I discovered that parking was free because it was Sunday! And, I had a great time at the sidewalk sale.
I’ve also visited the farmers market at the Galleria and purchased some Jersey tomatoes (now I can compare!) and some peaches. So. Red Bank you have redeemed yourself.
I guess I shall have to visit more often so I can master the new parking system. Or, wait until 6 p.m. or Sunday when the parking is free!

TRT™ Coverage Helps Cinderella’s Closet Reach Out to Others

To the Editor:

I am a volunteer at Cinderella’s Closet of Monmouth County. I have been meaning to contact you to thank you, The Two River Times and especially Lynne Ward.
Lynne came to our fashion show event in January. Through Lynne’s coverage in your “People” section, we have received favorable feedback and needed coverage that has helped us reach out to the community in general.
Lynne was not only professional but showed a genuine interest in our mission to help those in need.
It was a pleasure to correspond with Lynne and I wanted to let you know about our favorable experience.
