LITTLE SILVER – Markham Place School Alumni from 1960-1979 will be gathering at 5 p.m. Saturday, July 26, at the school for a group photo followed by a tour.
Many have not been in the building since graduating eighth grade and have never seen the large addition. Teacher and alumni, B.J. Olsen (‘83) will be the tour guide.
The reunion will continue at the Nauvoo Grill Club in Fair Haven from 7 to 11 p.m. The cost is $40 per person, which includes a dinner buffet, DJ, reunion directory and door prizes. A cash bar and valet parking will be available.
The reunion committee is selling ads for the directory, $25 for a business card ad and $100 for a full page ad. Those who wish to buy a directory ad are asked to include their ad copy or business card with their dinner reservation. Net proceeds from the event will be used to purchase a special gift for the school.
Those planning to attend should make reservations by July 12 and should include their name, year of graduation, contact information and a brief bio. Checks may be made payable to: LSMPS Reunion and mailed to PO Box 2281, Ocean, NJ 07712.
