Mass Transit Announces Last Pickups Ahead of Storm

Commuters left work early to catch rides on mass transportation Monday, in light of reports that the snowfall will worsen in the evening hours and mass transit will curtail operations.
Seastreak announced that ferry service would cease by 6:45 p.m., in order to get commuters home safely to their waiting cars in Highlands and Atlantic Highlands, and tuck ferries into port. An update about tomorrow’s service will be posted at 4:30 a.m.
New Jersey Transit says the last opportunity to board rail, bus and light rail service will be at 8 p.m., in order for commuters to arrive home by 10 p.m., with the caveat that service will resume when conditions permit. Academy Bus has posted Storm Schedules.
