Frances McNicholas, 77, of Port Monmouth, died April 19 at her home. She was born in Baltimore to the late Charles and Mary Watts and lived there until moving to the Bayshore area 60 years ago. Frances worked as a nurse’s aide at Bayshore Health Care Center. She was a volunteer at the Mangia Food Bank in Belford. Fran enjoyed crossword puzzles and she loved painting and doing her crafts.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, William Richard McNicholas Sr.; her son and daughter-in-law, William Richard and Miriam McNicholas Jr.; her grandson, Liam Richard McNicholas; and her two sisters, Eva Gorsuch of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania and Mary Frazier of Pennsylvania. Also surviving are two stepsons, John Rickell of Baltimore and Mark Rickell of Hanover, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Steven Rickell, Tiffany Rickell, Megan Rickell and Ryan Rickell, all of Hanover.
Visitation was held April 22 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Funeral services were scheduled for during the visiting hours at the funeral home.
