Meghan Checton and Colin Morris

Meghan Farrell Checton and Colin Richdale Morris were married on July 12 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Highlands. The Rev. William Lago officiated. A reception followed at the Navesink Country Club, Middletown.

 Bridesmaids were the bride’s sisters, Stephanie Checton Palumbo, Hoboken, and Tara Checton, Sea Girt. Groomsmen were Brian Morris, Manhattan, the groom’s brother, and Johnny Checton, Denver, the bride’s brother.
Meghan is the daughter of John and Maria Checton of Sea Girt. She graduated from Red Bank Catholic, Mount Saint Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, Md., with a B.A. in Secondary Education and Social Studies and Monmouth University with an M.S. in Education. She is currently a social studies teacher and girls’ and boys’ tennis coach at Howell High School.
Colin is the son of Chris and Pam Morris of Colts Neck. He graduated from Red Bank Catholic and the University of Delaware with a B.S. in Sports Management. He works as an analytics coordinator at National Accounts Property Company (NAPCO). He is also the boys’ hockey coach at Red Bank Regional and a hockey coach at the Red Bank Armory.
The couple honeymooned in the Pacific Northwest. They reside in Avon-by-the-Sea.
