Mon. U Named Top College for Veterans

WEST LONG BRANCH – Monmouth University has been recognized by four organizations as being one of the nation’s top colleges for veterans. Military Times has ranked Monmouth University as one of the nation’s top colleges for veterans for the second year in a row. Additionally, the university has been designated as a Military Friendly School for 2014 by Victory Media for being among the top 20 percent of all schools nationwide doing the most to embrace America’s military service members and veterans and as a 2014 Top Military-Friendly University by Military Advanc­ed Education Magazine. U.S News & World Report ranked Monmouth as a 2014 Best College for Veterans.

Monmouth has an Office of Veterans Services that provides certification, orientation, and support through the many adjustments to college life. The Veterans Associa­tion, formed by a group of students and a member of the Student Veterans of America, is very active on campus and promotes understanding and awareness for all veterans attending Monmouth University.
