RED BANK – Monmouth Arts will hold its first Phantom of the Arts Masquerade Ball at 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Trinity Restaurant & Lounge, Keyport.
The creative talents of the Monmouth Arts community will be out in full force for this unique event. Artists are busy creating one-of-a-kind masks and costumes that you won’t want to miss. The Arts Society of Keyport (ASK) is taking a major role in using this event to highlight the arts community in this Bayshore town.
Trinity Restaurant, located in an old gothic church, is the perfect location for a masquerade ball, with its evocative atmosphere and historic detail, according to owner Charlie Merla.
The evening will include a costume contest with celebrity judges, ghost stories and ghost tours, face and body painting by the Sparkling Lady, trick or treat goody bags, silent auction and more.
Dress is creative black tie or costume. Artists will be featured throughout the evening beginning with the musicians of FloraDuo who will greet guests as they enter, a tango performance by Red Bank Tango, a fortune-teller, and other special appearances.
Test out your Halloween costumes a week early and show your support for the arts in Monmouth County. Proceeds from the event will allow Monmouth Arts to increase its support of community and arts education programs.
Guests are invited to arrive in creative black tie or costume. For those who may want a face-painted mask, the Sparkling Lady will be available before the event to create custom designs. To set up an appointment contact Eve Silver at thesparklinglady@gmail.com.

They are among those working on what they anticipate will become a yearly event to supplement Monmouth Arts’ current grants program, institute grants for individual artists and to continue supporting community arts projects.
