Monmouth Barracudas Heading to Hawaii for Invitational Meet

Microsoft Word - Document1Members of the Monmouth Barracudas Swim Club, a year round USA competitive swim team, are excited to travel Aug. 5 to Oahu, Hawaii.
The team, which trains at the Neptune Aquatics Center under the direction of team owner coach Paul Buerck of Wayside, will be participating in the 8th Annual Hall of Fame Invitational Swim Meet against teams from Hawaii and Japan. The swimmers qualified to participate by achieving time standards in their age categories.
The swimmers, who range in age from 8 to19, live in Wayside, Tinton Falls, Allenwood, Atlantic Highlands, Holmdel, Howell, Little Silver, Long Branch, Middletown, Neptune, Rumson, Shrewsbury, and West Long Branch.
Swimmers and families traveling with Buerck and coaches Shannon Gillespie and Jimmy Isaacson are: Ashleigh Anzevino, Benjamin Buerck, Megan Burke, John Crilly, Kathleen Crilly, Tara Crilly, Caitlin Harper, Carli Isaacson, Joseph Isaacson, Sophia Kelly, Jenna Mazza, Jessica Mazza, Giovanna Niro, Marco Niro, Caroline Nunez, Olukayode Oladeji, Dylan Racioppi, Sarah Racioppi, Jonathan Ryan, Karli Rymer, Abigail Schick, Emily Stafford, Ian Stafford, Samantha Todres, Amy Wallace, Peter Warshaw and Kassidy Wicki.
The team will be holding tryouts for new members at 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 22, at the Neptune Aquatics Center. Those age 6 and older are welcome to try out.
