LONG BRANCH – The Monmouth Medical Center Foundation recently received a more than $5,000 donation from BidPal, Inc., an Indianapolis-based company providing event-management solutions, automated auctions, payment processing, online fundraising and more.
“Monmouth Medical Center and its foundation are very grateful for this unexpected gift from BidPal employees,” said Frank J. Vozos M.D., president and chief executive officer of Monmouth Medical Center. “Donations such as this help Monmouth continue providing a continuum of care to the region, and we are truly appreciative.”
BidPal employees raised the funds at the company’s inaugural annual meeting – the BidBash Gala. Designed as a training forum to educate company employees on the latest technological innovations available for charitable giving, BidBash became a means of raising funds to recognize Monmouth Medical Center’s 125 years of service to the community as well as its efforts during and after Sandy.
“As a world-class health-care leader in an array of specialty services, a trusted educational resource and a facility dedicated to the health and welfare of young children, we are proud of your milestone anniversary and thrilled to celebrate with you. We also want to extend our gratitude for your amazing efforts serving the community in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy,” said Scott Webber, CEO, BidPal, Inc.
Webber said one of the company’s employees resides in the area, making this donation a personal one for the company.
