New Jersey Celebrates 350th with Red Bank Pop-Up Store

RED BANK – The Count Basie Theatre will be the site of a special pop-up store, selling New Jersey merchandise, to help celebrate the state’s 350th anniversary.
The shop will be open from noon to 6 p.m. through Monday, Jan. 6, at the 99 Monmouth St. theater.
The ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Dec. 31, featured special guests and The Chorus of the Atlantic.
NJ350 Pop-Up stores are specializing in merchandise with a unique New Jersey focus. Featured products are what curators have dubbed “‘Jerseyana.”
Included are the Jerseyopoly board game and “Goodnight ‘Jersey” children’s book, as well as NJ350 and state-branded merchandise; educational items; items specific to the history of Red Bank and the Count Basie Theatre; Gov. Chris Christie’s popular state-silhouette lapel pin and more.
The store also features Red Bank and Jersey Shore merchandise from Shore Chic, Cabana 19, Frame to Please, Toad Hollow Gifts, Monmouth Street Emporium, Backward Glances, Alternative Frock, Prowns and the Count Basie Theatre.
