NJSIAA Girls Soccer Update – 11.4.11

Central Jersey Group 2
Rumson-Fair Haven (5) faces Summit (4) today at 3:30 in Summit in the second round of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group two girls soccer tournament.
Shore Regional (3) defeated Bordentown (6), 2-0, in its second round matchup yesterday.  Chelsea Henderson and Claudia LaMarca provided the scoring for the Blue Devils.  Amanda Olsen had 5 saves.
Central Jersey Group 4
Colts Neck (8) lost to top-seeded Montgomery, 7-2, in yesterday’s second round matchup.  Montgomery put 5 in the back of the net in the first half against Colts Neck.  Meaghan Mulligan scored both goals for the Cougars.
South Jersey, Non-Public A
Red Bank Catholic (2) put down Holy Spirit(&), 5-1, to advance to the Semi-final round.  Mackenzie Cowley led the Caseys in the victory with a hat trick and an assist.  RBC faces off against Bishop Ahr (3) on Monday for a shot at advancing to the championship game.
South Jersey, Non-Public B
Mater Dei Prep (11) upset Moorestown Friends (3), 3-2, in overtime yesterday for a chance to face second-seeded Gill St. Bernard’s in the Semi-finals on Monday.
