ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS – The Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce’s (NMCC) quarterly Women in Business Luncheon will be held at noon Thursday, May 15, at the Beacon Hill Country Club, 8 Beacon Road. All are welcome.
The luncheon’s Spotlight Presenters will be Roe Couture DeSaro and Patti Baxter.
Baxter will present Cultivating Your Garden: Growing your Business and Plotting your Plans for Success. Baxter is the owner of Spark Market Solutions, LLC, a Red Bank-based destination and events marketing firm that publishes Monmouth County’s official tourism guide, Visit Monmouth, and produces events such as the New Jersey Seafood Festival, Sandcastle Contest and San Gennaro Festival in Belmar, the Food Truck Showdown and Shore Chef Crab Cake Cook-Off at Monmouth Park, with food truck events sprouting all over New Jersey in 2014.
DeSaro will provide the audience with 5 Steps to Clarity, Confidence and Cash. DeSaro has more than 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, personal development and success training. Her expertise comes from having been a large-firm corporate vice president executive in the 1980s, a Wall Street partner in the ‘90s, an award-winning independent sales professional, all while running a successful small business on the side. Her company provides coaching, speaking, live workshops, seminars, master minding, retreats and success programs. Her first book, “Empowering Transformations for Women,” is a best seller and her current book “Network to Increase Your Net Worth” was an international best seller on its first day.
“We chose Patti and Roe as our speakers because we want our audience of business owners and professionals to leave with valuable information and tools that they can put to use in their business immediately,” said Sherilyn Przelomski, Women In Business Luncheon chairperson. “We welcome all business professionals to attend this luncheon, including those who are in transition and looking to simply network.”

Terence H. Biggs II, the Executive Director of the chamber said: “Every quarter the Northern Monmouth Chamber of Commerce (NMCC) makes it a priority to provide a space where powerful women in business are afforded the opportunity to come together with an audience of other women, men and young adults, to share their insight and expertise on a variety of topics. These well-attended sessions are one of the building blocks of NMCC.”
Tickets are available at an early bird discount of $30 for members and $35 for nonmembers until noon May 11; $35 for members and $40 for nonmembers after that time. Tickets can be purchased at www.business.northernmonmouthchamber.com/events/details/women-in-business-luncheon.
