Raymond M. Palovcak, 72, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, April 22. He was born and raised in Elizabeth, where he resided until moving to Middletown 33 years go. He moved to Toms River in December. Raymond was employed by Supermarkets General for 21 years and Central Jersey Septic for 20 years. Upon his retirement he was employed as a part-time bus driver for the Senior Center of Middletown Township. He was an avid fan of the Yankees and the NY Giants. He loved to cook and his family enjoyed many delicious meals that he prepared. He also loved his yearly family vacations at Lake George, New York.
Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Raymond and Helen Palovcak. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; his daughter, Maureen; his sons, Raymond and Pat (Christine); his grandchildren, Tommy, Molly, and Ray Palovcak; and his brothers, Gregory and Gilbert Palovcak. Also surviving are his in-laws, Maureen and Jimmy Murphy; and several nieces and nephews.
