RED BANK – John P. Paone Jr. of the law firm of Paone, Zaleski & Brown in Woodbridge and Red Bank has been installed as the president of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
Paone is chair of the New Jersey Supreme Court Board on Attorney Certification and is a member of the first class of attorneys to be certified as a Matrimonial Law Attorney in this state. He limits his practice to divorce and family law matters.
Founded in 1962, the academy seeks to encourage the study, improve the practice, and elevate the standards of divorce and family law. Membership in the academy is by invitation only and it is comprised of the top 1,600 matrimonial attorneys throughout the nation, recognized as having the highest level of knowledge, skill, and integrity.
Paone is a longtime resident of Rumson where he resides with his wife and two children.
