Pier Village on the oceanfront in Long Branch will hold a Holiday Kickoff Weekend Nov. 24 – 27.
“This year’s celebration is geared towards thanking our loyal customers and local community,” says Megan Oliveira, director of marketing and events. “We want people to have an experience here that they can’t get anywhere else.”
Start off the celebration at any of the pre-fixe gourmet Thanksgiving dinner opportunities with ocean views. McLoone’s Pier House is offering both buffet and a la carte menus from 12 noon to 7 p.m. From 1 to 6 p.m. enjoy a three-course dinner at The Avenue for only $29.
Order your Thanksgiving cakes and pies from Cake Bake & Roll and don’t miss out on their custom gingerbread houses. Bring in a photo and they will make a gingerbread likeness of your home, school or church.
On Friday, Nov. 25, Pier Village will offer free parking and a sidewalk sale. All retail shops will be cleaning out their stock and offering it up to customers at a discount. Pier Village has partnered up with the Ocean Place Resort & Spa, located right next door for a “Black Friday Shop & Stay” package that includes: overnight accommodations, breakfast for two, late 1 PM check-out, exclusive offers from Pier Village merchants, and the option for a 25-minute massage. The grand finale of the weekend is on Sunday, Nov. 27 when the City of Long Branch and Pier Village host the annual tree lighting at 4:30 p.m. Tim McLoone & The Holiday Express will entertain the crowd as they enjoy free gifts from our merchants, hot chocolate, cookies and a visit from Santa. Pier Village will be handing out free $25 gift cards to the first 1,000 attendees. Gift cards are good at all Pier Village businesses during the weekends of Dec. 10 and 17.
