Police Seek Suspect In Robbert At Lincroft Pharmacy

MIDDLETOWN — Township police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Lincroft pharmacy on Tuesday evening.
At about 5:50 p.m. police responded to a report of the robbery taking place at Rite Aid pharmacy, 642 Newman Springs Road.
According to police, the suspect was described as a white male with a thin build standing between 5-foot-8 inches and 6 feet tall, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a grey stripe on the front. He also had on black, large-frame sunglasses and dark colored pants.
The suspect, police said, entered the store, approached the counter and lifted his sweatshirt, revealing a black handgun tucked in his waistband, and demanded Oxycodone pills.
Oxycodone is an opoid drug prescribed for pain management.
The suspect then fled the store and was last seen running behind the pharmacy, according to police.

The Rite Aid Loss Prevention Department is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the suspect’s apprehension, police said.
