Prevention First will hold its annual golf outing on Monday, Sept. 17, at Trump National Golf Club in Colts Neck.
The golf outing is one of Prevention First’s annual fundraisers. The proceeds from the event will fund programs that will directly benefit the children of Monmouth and Ocean counties by helping to keep them healthy, safe and drug-free.
This year, the agency will recognize Joseph A. Torcivia for his exemplary commitment to the community. Torcivia, a long-time Monmouth County resident, serves the community as both a leader in business and an advocate for such worthy causes as Prevention First.
His company, Torcon, Inc., of which he is co-president, is a leading construction services organization based in Red Bank. Torcivia serves local, regional and statewide organizations and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Springpoint Senior Living, the Board of Trustees of Monmouth Medical Center and the Board of Regents of Seton Hall University. Previously, he held the positions of chairman of the Board of Trustees of Monmouth Health Care Foundation and president of the Board of Trustees of Rumson Country Day School.
