Despite rainy weather, 11,959 racing fans came to Monmouth Park on Mother’s Day to kick of the horse-racing season. Live racing continues on weekends in May and Memorial Day Monday. Throughout the summer, live racing events are held Friday-Sunday until Sept. 10, with the popular Haskell Invitational on July 30. See MonmouthPark.com for a calendar of special events.

Monmouth Park is open seven days a week for simulcasting. On Saturday, May 20, gates will open at 10 a.m. as the racetrack beams in all the simulcast action from Pimlico, including the 142nd running of the Preakness Stakes, the second leg of the Triple Crown.
