Charles A. (Chuck) Randall, 86, of Middletown, died on Thursday, November 17 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. He was born in 1930 in West New York, New Jersey, and lived in Union City and Nutley before moving to Middletown around 1960. Charles graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a bachelor of science degree. He worked for 32 years with Bristol Myers Squibb as a senior sales representative.

Upon his retirement he enjoyed broadcasting at Brookdale Community College for their Jazz station WBJB 90.5. Charles enjoyed music, photography, family vacations and traveling. He also enjoyed his daily visits at Starbucks with his friends and became known as the “Mayor of Starbucks.”

Charles was a lifetime St. Louis Cardinals fan and will be best remembered for his dynamic personality and sense of humor. Charles proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Charles was predeceased by his mother, Marion Illovich; his father, Earl Randall; and his daughter, Donna Randall. He leaves behind his loving wife, Joan Rall Randall; a daughter, Barbara Crossman of Red Bank; a son, Scott Randall and daughter-in-law, Joan Randall of Hoschton, Georgia; his five grandchildren, Lauren, Taylor, Scott, Katie and Ellie; his great-grandson, Quinn; and his loving caregiver, Venise Hall.
