Ranney’s Day Camp Offers Study and Fun

TINTON FALLS – At Ranney School, your child can have the best of both learning environments on one expansive 60-acre campus in Monmouth County – academic and talent development courses of study and skill-building camp opportunities to develop friendships and social fun-in-the-sun experiences that last a lifetime!
Ranney School’s full-day day camp is both licensed by the state of New Jersey and accredited by the American Camp Association, with the highest operational standards for staffing, safety, facilities, trips, sports activities and cafeteria and pool operation. Our camp program for children, ages 3-13, provides daily swims, physical activity games and mini-sports clinics, as well as specialized art, music, drama and electives programs, including crafts, camp newspaper, science and rocketry, digital photography, dance and much more all within our state-of-the-art facilities, including a newly upgraded Aquatic Center, offering the perfect venue for a full range of athletic opportunities where young athletes develop skills, confidence, leadership and teamwork.
Sports camps are available for basketball, fencing, golf, swimming and tennis.

As the summer extension of Ranney School, summer programs at Ranney School offer an outstanding selection of academic programming, including STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), gifted and talented and fine and performing arts courses for children, 4 years old through grade 12, as well as day, trip and sports camps for children, 3 to 13 years old and a counselor-in-training program for 14-year-olds. Elementary grade-level reading, writing and mathematics courses, as well as subject-specific talent development and high school courses, foster 21st-century skill building in areas of learning and innovation, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity and problem solving.
Camp-RANNEY3-2.28In addition, information, media and technology skills focus on content knowledge and specific skill building utilizing interactive SMART Boards, accessible in all classrooms and iPad technology in specialized courses.
Performing Arts themes for grades 1-3, 4-6 and 6-8 have been chosen to encourage a strong sense of self, an essential recipe for self-confidence and creative expression, while technology, engineering, math and science, including engineering in grades 1-8 and Singapore Math, robotics and advanced robotics, are geared to strengthen critical reasoning and problem-solving skills, as well as innovative and creative thinking. For-credit high school math courses join introductory math, science, English and visual art courses, including Fused Glass, Sculpture, Papermaking and Textile Design, to provide a full complement of learning over the summer for students in grades 7-12.
Performing art students will want to enroll early in our very popular Music Conservatory with half-day and full-day orchestra courses, taught by European-trained music instructors, as well as registering for half-day and full-day drama programming within our Performing Arts Academy. These specialized programs are open to students in grades 3 – 8.
A comprehensive offering of fine and visual arts courses for students in grades 1-12 are designed to encourage creative thinking and expression, tapping into the unique ways that imaginative children see their world.
