Nancy Raymond, 89, of Red Bank, passed away on Tuesday, April 19 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Red Bank to the late John and Antoinette (Arnone) Setaro. Nancy helped with the research of Lasers Technology and microwave effects for Bendix and was an inspector of fighter planes for Grumman. She also worked in the Red Bank School Cafeteria and volunteered in the Long Island Senior Center helping with arts and crafts.

Nancy owned the Burger Bowl Restaurant in Red Bank from 1970-1971. She was always properly dressed for every occasion, known for her impeccably wrapped presents and loved twisting.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Robert in 1978; her brothers, Dominick, Bernard, William and Peter Setaro; her sisters, Rose Mazzucca, Angie Giglio, Lena Cerrone, Ida Setaro, and Mildred Knight; her four nieces; and one great-nephew. Surviving are her loving sister, Dorothy Setaro of Red Bank; her sister-in-law, Teresa Setaro of River Plaza; her 16 nieces and nephews; 45 great nieces and nephews; 44 great-great nieces and great-great nephews; and her cherished God children, Joy Bottger, Beverly Morris, John Setaro Sr., Eleanor Everitt, Jacquelynn Scribellito and Douglas Booton. Also surviving are many friends and extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 22 at 12:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua in Red Bank, with interment immediately following at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
