RED BANK – Red Bank Flavour, a culinary alliance formed by the borough’s top chefs, restaurateurs and proprietors, has partnered with Lunch Break, a borough-based hunger and community outreach organization, as its official charity beneficiary.
Lunch Break is organizing a special, town-wide Family Night Out for Tuesday, June 12. Lunch Break supporters will be encouraged to dine at participating Red Bank restaurants as part of a one-night-only fundraising initiative.
The partnership, founded on both organizations’ allegiance to the community, has already begun holding Monday night Give Some Flavour, Get Some Flavour promotions. Foodies, Flavour fans and Lunch Break supporters can dine at participating restaurants every Monday and a portion of that evening’s dinner sales will be donated back to the nonprofit organization. The promotion continues throughout the summer.
Participating restaurants include Danny’s Grill and Wine Bar, Tommy’s Coal Fired Pizza, The Bistro at Red Bank, Teak, red, The Downtown and Gaetano’s.
“As an alliance of culinary professionals, we feel that Lunch Break is the perfect organization for Red Bank Flavour to work with on an on-going basis,” said Valerie Aufiero, owner of the Front St. Trattoria.  “With such a diverse restaurant community in Red Bank, our combined efforts can really make an impact.  We all feel we have the resources to help support Lunch Break’s community-based mission.”
