Members of the Red Bank Catholic National Honor Society (NHS) and the RBC Hot Topics Club delivered some welcome color over Mother’s Day weekend to homeowners impacted by Super Storm Sandy. RBC senior and NHS officer Kasey McAteer of Shark River Hills, and senior Mac Feaster of Shrewsbury purchased and donated Restore the Shore bracelets for club members to sell to fellow students. They pooled their proceeds, and with the generous help of Kim Casola of Casola Farms, purchased enough supplies to create 72 planters of flowers. The students then made surprise deliveries to homes hit hardest by Sandy in Union Beach, Keansburg, Brick, Oceanport, Monmouth Beach and Point Pleasant. Here, students display some of the planters they created and delivered.
