MONMOUTH BEACH – When local company, Resources Real Estate, says it runs ahead of the pack, it means it – literally. Several of Resources’ agents were sprinting ahead of the competition Saturday, May 12, at the 18th Annual Monmouth Beach PTO 3-Mile Run, Walk and Relay.
The event, co-presented by the Jersey Shore Runners Club, attracts participants from all over Monmouth County with a route that travels throughout town.
“Monmouth Beach is only about 1.1 square miles, so you’re passing through quite a bit of town while running the 3-mile race,” said Helen George, Resources’ sales associate and resident who helped marshal the event. “It was great because the race route took you past many of our company listings in town.”
“As I was running, I kept pointing to our signs which were decorated with pink bows for ‘Paint The Town Pink,’” said Patrice Carden, sales associate and resident, speaking of the breast cancer awareness event that took place this past week.
Agents from both company offices in Rumson and Monmouth Beach participated including runners Allison Gregory, Trish Bennett, Gary Krauss and sideline supporters Mark Gregory (and their dog, Bailey) and Tom McCormack, broker and managing partner of the company.
The event, which Resources co-sponsored, benefited the Monmouth Beach PTO, an organization founded by parents and faculty of the local school to enhance the quality of education for the town’s children.
Participants received a T-shirt bearing Resources Real Estate’s logo and a beach badge lanyard with the company’s contact information.
