RED BANK – Dr. Erin Curtis and Red Bank Family Eyecare hosted a benefit for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Monmouth County (BGCM), raising $4,500 for summer camp programming.
Held on the Front Street lawn of the Red Bank Family Eyecare in June, more than 160 supporters attended the event, which featured a silent auction, a basket auction, raffles, a trunk show, hors d’oeuvres and refreshments.
BGCM has locations in Red Bank and Asbury Park and provides fun, educational and character-building programming for more than 800 children each year.
Born and raised in Red Bank, Curtis has a deep commitment to the community and jumped at the chance to help send more children to BGCM’s summer camps.
“We are so grateful for the support of Dr. Curtis and her staff,” said Douglas Eagles, executive director of BGCM. “We simply couldn’t do the work we do without the passion and dedication of our community partners, donors, and advocates.”
BGCM’s summer camps offer structured recreational activities, daily learning modules, book clubs, daily recreational swims, arts and crafts and weekly field trips.
