RED BANK – Members of the Red Bank Fire Department helped honor 55-year member and former Libery Hose Company Chief John A. Abbatemarco as he was laid to rest on Monday.
Abbatemarco, 79 of Red Bank, died Tuesday, at Riverview Medical Center. He was the past chief of Liberty Hose Co., Red Bank, and was an active member of the Red Bank First Aid Squad and the fire police.
A barber in the Red Bank area for many year, Abbatemarco’s funeral Mass was held at the Church of the Nativity on Monday morning..
