RED BANK – Thousands of people packed Broad Street Friday night for the annual Holiday Express concert and Town Lighting.
Attendees bopped and hopped during the 80-minute concert that featured many holiday favorites by Tim McLoone’s Holiday Express musicians and singers plus dancers for Kathryn Barnett School of Dance. Mayor Pasquale Menna welcomed the crowd and introduced one of the town’s newest merchants, Buddy Valastro of Carlo’s Barkery.
The night was cold with temperatures in the lower 30s but that didn’t discourage the warm spirit of the evening that formally kicked off the holiday season in the borough..
